It only took two shapes and it all clicked, she is now happily drawing shapes all by herself she enjoyed it so much!
Here's how we done it:
To make a pyramid:
Make a square (we measured our sides as 6cm) remember to ensure all corners have 90 degree angles.
measure out 60 degree angles from each corner outwards to make 4 triangles the same size.
Add little tabs to the right side of each triangle.
score down all the lines...
using the tabs glue it together so it looks like the above!
We also made this triangular prism:
We made the rectange 10cm long and used 60 degree angles to make the triange.
Added some tabs again...
Then glued it together.
