Today, they happily dived into their workbooks; Honi make cakes (she said it was for her maths); Harmonie painted and did puzzles and that was all before lunch.
After lunch Honi and I got on with the making of the animation. It was brilliant and Honi loved it so much she's looking forward to a second film! It may only be 5 seconds long but she loves it and is proud of it and I am so chuffed for her. Here it is...
It really filled the house with excitement when the film was finished. We spent the rest of the afternoon in the park feeding squirrels, pigeons, swans, moorhens and ducks.
A lovely happy, calm day!
LOVE the movie!! How cool is that?! Did you do it by taking lots of photos? I bet my daughter would like to make one too :)
ReplyDeleteWe did do it by taking lots of photos and we used a CD with animation software on out of a book Honi got for her birthday back in September. I've given the link with my reply to Julie below. I hope you and your daughter manage to make one of your own, it was a lot of fun! :)
DeleteGreat thanks! We'll have a go!
DeleteCool! You'll have so much fun with it :)
Deletelovely animation. I have just bought ZU3D for making animations with the children but looks like Honi doesn't even need that !
ReplyDeleteThanks Claire. It really excited her to see her art come to life! :)
DeleteHow completely cool!
ReplyDeleteThe animation is great! Maybe a guest post from Honi (with a little help) explaining how she did it? :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Julie! We used this book: https://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/products/hinkler+books+pty+ltd/dinosaur+giant+activity+book/9263490/ as a resource it comes with the animation software. Although it's about dinosaurs you could use it for any sort of animations you like :) I hope that helps x
