The makers of Heroes of the City recently asked if An Ordinary Life would review their App which is available on the App store and Google Play.
To be honest I had at that point never seen anything of Heroes of the City but when I checked out all the links they emailed me I knew my two youngest would be excited to help me try it all out so agreed and in return for an honest review they gave us the App to try. I am so glad I said YES!
Heroes of the city is a children’s TV series. Their television programmes are viewed in 70 countries on 4 continents. And I can see why as my girls have really taken to their products!

The App is aimed at around the 3-6 year bracket and the one we have been given contains 26 movies and 9 different games. It's mostly about vehicles that are personified into very relatable characters however we have all fallen for Calamity Crow in this house, Calamity Crow is a very loveable character indeed.
The movies within the App entertained my two youngest for hours, there must be about 6 hours worth of movie time on there!
I also liked how the games were set so they were suitable for little ones but increased in difficulty to challenge the older ones. I, as a lover of maths, liked the logic puzzle a lot!

In the game section there were jigsaw puzzles, painting games and memory games as well as catching butterflies, putting out fires, driving games and much more. I was rather impressed and my nearly 4 year old is still begging me for more play time every day!
It is certainly a game I would recommend to my readers and friends.
Disclaimer: this is an honest review and only contains my personal opinions on the product, I did receive the app for free in return for this review but I was in no way obliged to write anything other than an honest review of this product.
