My baby is 3!

God has blessed me with some amazing girls!  I love them all so much my heart could burst and I will not apologise for shouting out loud to the world about it!  Today it is my baby's birthday.  A whole 3 years old.  I woke to her jumping on my bed saying: 'It's my birthday!  I three! I big now!  Look!  See! Can I have a bike now? A pink one? Open my presents'  with the biggest loveliest smile on her face - she is a lovely chatter box.

We sang happy birthday to her about 10 times before 10 this morning and she just loved having a special day of her own.  It's the first birthday she's really understood what a birthday meant - well, saying that, the first time she knew it was a special day all about her!  It did take a while to convince her dad to leave his bed but he finally did and then the present opening began.  How she loved it all and sang (and sometimes squealed with pleasure) her thank yous out to us all.

These are all the cards made for her by her three big sisters!

Then she went out in the back garden for her big present!  Oh the smiles when she saw the pink bike that she had asked for for the last couple of months!  How simple it is to please such a little person, isn't that how we all should be.   She can't quite reach the pedals yet she's so diddy but she didn't care, she loves that she has her very own bike and LOVES that it is pink!

She wanted party games for her special day so Chiara made her a pass the parcel last night.  They played that and musical statues for nearly an hour this morning!

She also wanted a train ride and animals so we caught a train to Stowmarket and visited Stowmarket's M.E.A.L.  Harmonie loved the train ride as always and at the museum they tried on the Victorian clothes...

The Princess found a throne to sit on...

Daddy and his birthday girl had their picture taken...

They played on tractors...

We had a play in the play area too (I say we because I played too - being a parent is a great excuse!) we didn't play long because Harmonie came across an ant and freaked so we went off to see the animals.  Isn't it strange what they freak out over? MEAL had some new rabbits we haven't seen before which cheered her up, them and all the other animals.  This is my favourite sheep, he or she is the cuddliest sheep I have ever met, such a cutie.

This is something that made me laugh, Harmonie in the stocks!  She insisted I took a photo...

We managed to squeeze in a little coffee shop treat before coming home and eating chips (Harmonie's choice) and CAKE!  I am so full from all that cake.  I love how my 3 big girls decorated it, I let them at it while I put Harmonie to bed last night. I am rather impressed, more with how little they argued while they did it to be honest, still it's quite pretty.  Harmonie loved blowing the candle out, she did it several times until the blowing turned more slobbery, then we thought it best to eat it before it was drenched!  Little ones are great like that.

So an all smiling day! Oh, there was one more thing; when we were at Stowmarket train station Naomi gave Harmonie lots of kisses on the cheek and Harmonie turned to her and said, very matter of factly, 'No Naomi, I not a biscuit, I Harmonie!'  That made us all laugh, until she told us it wasn't funny that is.  She's such a cutie!
